2nd digital paper attempt. This time the inspiration was Urban Couture, Basic Grey. These papers were created using brushes in Photoshop: Fresh Foliage 2 and RecifeDirty2.
I've been experimenting with Photoshop brushes and thought I might create my own papers. I used the Fancy Pants Kewl Exquisite paper as my inspiration.
Here is the original.

This is the result. Let me know what you think.

The pictures on this layout are from the Silver Jubilee in 1977. Getting them was a nightmare. First the original is actually an 8mm cine film that was projected onto a screen and recorded with our analog video camera (this was a few years ago). Then the analog tape was recorded onto my computer using a video capture card. Then screen shots were taken from the movie.
In the end it was worth it as these are the only pictures I have of this event and are especially important to me as my best friend/next door neighbour Claire and her brother are also included. However, they are lo-res and I will be interested to see how they look when printed out.
Also, I'm not sure of this title. Originally it was called "Silver Jubilee" but I just know that my friend Bonnie (who is a great page titler) would say that was boring and challenge me to come up with something more interesting. So I was looking for a play on words related to "cube", "gravy" or "stock" and this is what I came up with, but I think it might be a bit harsh for the subject matter.
Thoughts, comments?

I've been reluctant to use this photo taken back in June 2006 as it is a little blurry but I saw it go by on my desktop (I have a viewer that shows you all the pics on your hard drive) and thought that I *had* to scrapbook it, so here it is.
This is another digital layout, using a kit produced by the Weeds & Wildflowers digital scrapbook team. No advanced techniques here other than using a corner rounder brush from Jessica Sprague.
I'm really enjoying these digital layouts and can't believe how fast I can pull them together. The only snag seems to be that I am producing single page layouts rather than my usual two page (mainly because you can really only fit one page on the screen in Photoshop).
Totally CASEd from a sample Cheryl Overton has on display at my local scrapbook store.
The frame is really an old cupboard door that has been painted/distressed. The papers are from SU! April Shower. The letters are attached to Basic Grey chipboard monograms.
Hope you like it. I'll be making one for my daughter next.
